Tradition Medicine – Traditional medicine refers to health practices, approaches, knowledge and beliefs incorporating plant, animal and mineral based medicines, spiritual therapies, manual techniques and exercises, applied singularly or in combination to treat, diagnose and prevent illnesses or maintain well-being.

Traditional Healing – Traditional healing refers to health practices, approaches, knowledge and beliefs incorporating First Nations healing and wellness while using ceremonies; plant, animal or mineral-based medicines; energetic therapies; or physical/hands on techniques.

Sustainably Harvested – The ecological definition of sustainable harvesting is harvesting that allows population numbers to be maintained or to increase over time. In addition, our sustainably harvested traditional healing ingredients are harvested in a way that allows the plants to flourish over time. We take no more than we need, and we leave it better than we found it.

Indigenous Owned – A brand owned by an Indigenous person.

Paraben Free – The term ‘parabens‘ is used to refer to a group of chemicals, mostly synthetic, that are commonly found in health, beauty and personal care to extend the shelf life of the product. Parabens are believed to disrupt hormone function by mimicking oestrogen. Furthermore, too much oestrogen can trigger an increase in breast cell division and growth of tumours, which is why paraben use has been linked to breast cancer and reproductive issues. Our products are 100% paraben free.

Sulphate Free/No SLS – The highest risk of using products with SLS and SLES is irritation to your eyes, skin, mouth, and lungs. For people with sensitive skin, sulfates may also clog pores and cause acne.
